Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated October 6, 2026.
1. Who this covers
This policy explains how Hands Up Digital, LLC (“we”, “us”) handles personal information from three groups: people who visit handsupdigital.com, people who contact us, and the businesses that buy our services. Section 4 covers a fourth group: the customers of those businesses.
2. What we collect
- When you contact us: your name, business name, email address, phone number and whatever you tell us about your business.
- When you become a customer: your business details, billing contact, and the information and account access we need to build your setup (for example your hours, prices and calendar).
- When you pay: card payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number. Stripe tells us that you paid, along with the card type, the last four digits and your billing details.
- When you visit this site: we don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver and protect the site, and may set a security cookie that is strictly necessary for that.
3. How we use it
We use personal information to reply to you, to set up and run the services you bought, to bill you, to fix problems, and to meet our legal obligations. We don't sell personal information and we don't use it for advertising.
4. Information about our customers' customers
When we run automations for a business, we handle information about the people who call, text or message that business: names, phone numbers, messages, call recordings and transcripts, appointment details and reviews.
We handle that information on behalf of the business and under its instructions. The business decides what is collected and why, and is responsible for it. If you are a customer of one of those businesses and want to see, correct or delete your information, contact that business. If you contact us instead, we pass your request to them.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the companies that help us provide the service, and only as far as they need it: website hosting, payment processing, email, phone and messaging providers, calendar and booking tools, and AI model providers. We also disclose information when the law requires it, or to a buyer if our business is sold.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and customer records for as long as we need them for the purposes above, and invoices for as long as tax law requires. When a customer cancels, we delete the information we handled for them within 30 days, unless they ask for an export first or the law requires us to keep it.
7. Security
We limit access to personal information to the people and systems that need it, and it is encrypted when it travels between us, you and our providers. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we tell you as the law requires.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop using it. Email david@handsupdigital.com and we respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example California, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom) you may have further rights under local law, and we honor them. We don't treat you differently for using them.
We are a United States company. We and our providers may process information in the United States and in other countries.
9. Children
Our website and services are for businesses. They are not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect children's personal information through this site.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If a change is significant, we email our customers before it takes effect.
